Ribbon Holder

I have a small obsession with ribbon.  I have too much and need more.  I have a large ribbon holder but I often look for creative ways to display my ribbon.  Recently I  bought a small dowel and foam block.  The dowel was $2.99 for pack of 10.  The foam block (use for/with fake flowers) was $1.99 all found at Jo-Ann's Fabric and Crafts. .  I covered the block and decorated it.  Then I simply stuck the dowel into the foam block.  You can place regularly used ribbon, small spools, or certain colors on the decorated holder.  I think I am also going to create on to hold my adhesive dots.

Cute Little Magnet

I got these small circle tin containers from Oriental Trading company a few years ago.  There a few dollars for 10.  I got them originally to hold any tiny embellishments.  They also work great when embellished as ornaments, or as little decorated magnets like I made here.

I used coordinating paper, stamps, embellishments, and added beads.in the bottom.  It shakes similar to a shaker box.   The back has a magnet on it.

This is a side view of the tin.  The ribbon tied around helps keep the lid closed.  I just used one ribbon but you could do so much more and add a string so it could hang.

Crafting room finally complete....almost.

I have been so blessed to have had awesome spaces to craft in.  However, after several moves I believe ( I pray) that I am here for the long haul.  My daughter and I share this great room above our garage.  Her side is filled with toys, my side is filled with my toys.  I need more table space and then I will be good.

This area holds all paper and embellishments are to the left along with all my SU catalogs from 1997....wow.

This hold most of my sets except holiday sets.  Those are in a whole other dresser.

I love this counter top I got from a friend.  It is a great space to hold more stuff.

Garage Sale Goodies

I recently found a new favorite scrapbook store.  Scrappy Chic in Livonia Mi.  The week that I found them, they also had a great garage sale.  Lots of great stuff.  I got all of this for around $25.00 and that includes several of my daughters items.

A Big Thanks

I am in love with Bicycles right now.  This set is Hero Arts poly clear set called Joy Ride.  I added the words BIG thanks from Stampin up Think Big.  The Think Big set is retired, but it is versatile.

The background stamp on bike is SU Canvas.

Grey and Yellow Inspired

Two of my new favorite colors are grey and yellow.  I recently got this set at a stamp store garage sale.  Super cheap, super cute, and super fun.  The set is A Beautiful Thing from Stampin Up.  It is older.

Colors are basic grey, going grey, and so saffron from stamping up.

Life is Art

I was cleaning my craft room and saw this great older stamp.  It reminded me of my awsome dog Leyland.  The set is an older set from Close to my Heart called Uptown Girls.  The wording is from Stampin Up Happy Everything set.  So here is Leyland....here is me....and here we are in a stamped image!
